rants turned into questions
Questions that I wish I had the answers to…
1) Why do we have Final Exam Week two weeks before the end of school?
2) Is it really necessary to know that Alice in Wonderland is a novel and not a short story?
3) Can an EOC exam that takes 30 minutes to complete really measure the academic proficiency of a student over a one-year period?
4) If a substitute teaches a class more than the actual teacher, is there something wrong with this picture?
5) How are students supposed to list any Academic Achievements on their resume when the school doesn’t give out academic awards until the end of Senior year?
6) Should awards/scholarships go to the student that works the hardest or the one that is most talented?
7) Can you believe that it’s the end of the school year already?
